About Devon

Devon Meyers was born and raised in Brockport, NY, where she still resides with her husband, Ken, along with her dog, Latte and two cats, Peach Fuzz and Granite. From an early age, Devon took an interest in drawing and painting. Continuing to expand her skills, she attended Genesee Community College and graduated the spring of 2022 with an Associate in Fine Arts. After, she continued her education by obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree in Studio Arts at Nazareth University, the spring of 2024 and obtained her Master’s degree at Nazareth University with a concentration in Art Education. She is an art educator, who encourages her students to believe in themselves and take risks in their art making.

Artist Statement

Growing up, I would listen to the tales that my grandmother would tell me; I would be on the edge of my seat listening to the stories of the past and things she would come up with from her imagination. Wanting to be my own storyteller, I create artwork that represents stories that I have experienced and the tales that come to my own imagination. I am inspired by my travels, animals and the ongoings of daily life.
